Regina, Sask. - The Swift Current Broncos defeated the Regina Pats 3-0 on Friday inside the Brandt Centre.
Despite a solid first period and opening 30 minutes of action, the Broncos took a 1-0 lead midway through the second frame. The Broncos would add two more in the early parts of the final stanza to take a 3-1 season series lead over the Pats. Reid Dyck made 26 saves for his second straight shutout while Zach Turner, Clarke Caswell and Ty Coupland (1G-1A) scored for the Broncos.

1-0 Broncos at 9:01 - Zach Turner (4), assisted by Payton Kettles & Ty Coupland // Turner's shot from the left point got through bodies and beat a screened Huet to give the Broncos a 1-0 lead midway through the second period.
Third Period
2-0 Broncos at 6:48 - Clarke Caswell (14), assisted by Connor Hvidston & Ryan McCleary // Caswell got the puck at the left circle, spun, and let a shot go that missed everyone and eluded Huet to make it 2-0 Broncos.
3-0 Broncos at 7:17 - Ty Coupland (8), assisted by Owen Pickering & Jakub Dvorak // Coupland was sprung on a breakaway and he made no mistake as he deked out Huet to give the Broncos a 3-0 lead.
