Toyota New Year's Eve

When we say this is the biggest NYE party in Portland, we aren't kidding! There's something for everyone during and after tonight's game as we close out 2023 in style!

On the ice, the Winterhawks are going for their third straight win overall and third straight in the season series against Vancouver. The Hawks have held the Giants to just three goals in two meetings this year while rattling off 11 of their own in that span, and enter tonight's contest having scored 14 goals in two games this week.

Elsewhere in the VMC, there's a TON going on! Let's dive in:

TOYOTA RAV4 GIVEAWAY:

That's right - a brand-new Toyota could be yours just for cheering on the Winterhawks! Ticket holders can check their email for information on how to enter, and a QR code will be shown on the big screen before the game and during the first period with a link to enter. Registration will close at the end of the first, so be sure to sign up by then! You must be in attendance to win the vehicle.

Twelve finalists will be chosen and notified during the game. Those 12 will then go onto the ice following the game's "Three Stars" ceremony and unwrap gift boxes in random order to determine a final winner.

POST-GAME FAN FEST:

After the fun with Toyota, join us in the Georgia Pacific room as we bring the fan fest fun indoors! We'll have something for everyone, including limited concessions and a full bar! Enjoy live music, balloon art, face painting, photo booth, lawn games, various signed door prizes and more - plus be sure to check out our game-worn specialty jersey auction from some fan-favorite theme nights!

SKATE WITH THE TEAM:

Mingle with Winterhawks players on the ice after the game! Our annual NYE Skate with the Team gives fans a chance to get autographs, skate on the same ice as their favorite players and get to know the guys on the other side of the glass!

Skate rental reservations are sold out, but you're welcome to bring your own into the building with you. Skate/blade guards must remain ON at all times during the game. A limited inventory of rentals may be available on a first-come, first-serve basis following the game.

NOTE: IF YOU ARE SKATING AFTER THE GAME, YOU MUST SIGN THIS WAIVER BEFORE GOING ON THE ICE.

CASH BALLOON DROP:

When the clock strikes 12 (Eastern Time), the balloons fall in the VMC! Ring in 2024 with your fellow fans in the stands during our annual balloon drop at 9:00 PT and you might just walk away with a little extra cash from select balloons!
