Tonight

The Saskatoon Blades look for their second win in as many nights as they travel to Moose Jaw to face the Warriors for the third time this season.

The Blades are coming off a strong 4-0 win over the Medicine Hat Tigers last night which saw Nolan Maier collect his franchise-record 10th career shutout.

That victory also saw Tristen Robins notch three assists for the second straight game and move into first place in league scoring with 11 points.

These two squads split their first two meetings of the season, with the Warriors beating Saskatoon 7-1 to open the campaign on Oct. 1, and the Blades earning a 4-2 win the next night.

These two squads enter the contest with just one point separating each other - Saskatoon sitting 2nd in the East Division with seven points, and the Warriors in a tie for 3rd with six.

Who to Watch

Alternate captain Tristen Robins took sole possession of the WHL scoring race last night, collecting three assists to reach 11 points on the season. His nine assists on the campaign is also the most of any player in the Western League. The San Jose Sharks prospect has collected multi-point efforts in all four games he's suited up in, including a two-point (1G-1A) performance over Moose Jaw on October 2nd.

Fellow alternate captain Kyle Crnkovic is also climbing the scoring charts, now up to eight points on the year after scoring a pair of goals over Medicine Hat. The former first-round pick by the Blades has collected points in all five games this season, and leads the WHL with two shorthanded markers.

First-round import pick Egor Sidorov notched his first career goal last night, tipping a long shot from captain Aidan De La Gorgendiere over the shoulder of the Tigers netminder. Hailing from Belarus, the 2004-born winger leads the team in rookie scoring with three points (1G-2A).
