October 11, 2018 - United States Hockey League (USHL)
Green Bay Gamblers News Release
The Green Bay Gamblers are teaming up with the Center for Suicide Awareness on Saturday, October 20 for Suicide Awareness Night. The Gamblers are hosting the Chicago Steel and the first 2,000 fans will receive a pair of exclusive socks as part of the SOCK-IT-TO-SUICIDE initiative.
Designed by the Center, every pair of socks encourages the wearer to unleash their inner hero and resiliency power as they face struggles. For immediate help and support, the HOPELINE 741741 text based emotional support service information is sewn into every pair of socks - right on the end of the front toe area - reminding the wearer that help is just a text away.
With every pair of socks sold comes a SOCK-IT-TO-SUICIDE pamphlet with the information below along with suicide warning signs and the HOPELINE number.
