January 31, 2020 - United States Hockey League (USHL)
Green Bay Gamblers News Release
Gamblers were back in action at the Resch tonight to take on the Fargo Force. In a close, physical battle Green Bay would end up coming up just short falling to Fargo 4-3.
Green Bay would start off slow in the first period with only 12 shots on net, while the Force had 18. Fargo would take a 2-0 lead into the second period.
More of the same in the second period as Fargo added a third goal just two and a half minutes into the period. However, Mason Lohrei (7) would score eight minutes later to get the Gamblers on the board. With less than a minute left in the period, Nicholas Zabaneh (10) would bring the Gamblers within one. Fargo would answer just twelve seconds later and take a 4-2 lead into the final period.
Alex Servagno (7) scored early and got the Gamblers within one goal. Unfortunately, that would not be enough and the Gamblers fell 4-3. Nicholas Grabko was in net tonight and saved 34 of the 38 shots he faced.
The Gamblers are back at the Resch tomorrow to take on Fargo for their Police and Fire Appreciation Night. The game begins at 7:05 pm and tickets are available at www.gamblershockey.com/tickets.
