Gambardella Named CCM/AHL Player of the Week

CONDORSTOWN, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors announced today that LW Joe Gambardella has been selected as the CCM/AHL Player of the Week for the period ending January 27, 2019. Gambardella registered four goals - including two game-winners - and six points in four contests to help the Condors extend their winning streak to eight games.
CCM/AHL PLAYER OF THE WEEK - JOE GAMBARDELLA
Scored an overtime game-winner against San Jose last Monday as the Condors beat the division leaders on the road, 6-5
Had a goal and assist in the team's 7-2 victory over Colorado on Wednesday
Assisted on Friday's game-winner over Tucson
Had two goals and was +2 in the team's 3-1 win over the Roadrunners on Saturday
Participated in the Lexus AHL All-Star Classic presented by MGM Springfield on Sunday and Monday (check out the highlights here)
He is tied for the team lead in goals with 19 and his 32 points are tied for second
He is on a current six-game point streak (7g-4a)
