GREENEVILLE, TN - The Greeneville Reds (13-17) broke a 2-2 tie with two runs in the bottom of the eighth inning en route to a 4-2 victory over the Elizabethton Twins (17-13) Friday night at Pioneer Park. All five of Greeneville's hits went for extra bases.

After four scoreless innings, the E-Twins took the lead in the fifth. Matt Wallner led off with a double, and scored on Charlie Mack's two-run home run to right center field off RHP Tyler Garbee.

Garbee did not factor in the decision Friday night. He allowed two-runs on four hits in five innings in his first professional start. He also struck out a career-high eight. Mack's home run snapped Garbee's scoreless inning streak at 21.1.

Ivan Johnson led off the sixth inning with a double off RHP Cody Laweryson. Johnson scored on A.J. Bumpass' game tying, two-out, two-run home run to right center field.

Luke Berryhill welcomed LHP Erik Cha (L, 3-1) into the game with a leadoff double in the eighth. Johnson's go-ahead RBI- double, scoring Berryhill, gave Greeneville their first lead. An error allowed Johnson to get to third. He scored on Danny Lantigua's RBI ground out to extend Greeneville's lead to 4-2.

RHP Patrick Raby (W, 1-0) earned the win in relief. Raby allowed a hit and struck out five over three scoreless innings. RHP Matt Gill (S, 1) earned the save. He struck out one, and worked around a leadoff single in a scoreless ninth inning.

The Reds head to Princeton, WV on Saturday to begin a three game series with the Rays at Hunnicutt Field. First pitch between LHP Jose Salvador (1-3, 5.61) and RHP Matthew Peguero (3-0, 4.09) is scheduled for 6:30 PM.
