New Britain Rock Cats News Release
New Britain, CT - The late Rob Coleman - a popular New Britain Stadium employee - succumbed to lung cancer just one year ago. The gregarious Food Service employee loved the Rock Cats, their fans, and the occasional beer! In honor of Rob - and others who are dealing with this very tough disease - the Rock Cats and the good folks at Samuel Adams are sponsoring a Beer Tasting tomorrow night (5:30-7:00 PM) in the Stadium's delightful rooftop Samuel Adams Bar & Grill.
For a $15 donation, participants will have the opportunity to taste a wide variety of tasty beers, as well as sample free ballpark food. What a combo! This is not only a great cause - for a great guy who is much missed - but also a fabulous deal. Join us if you can!
It is recommended that fans pre-purchase their tickets by calling the Rock Cats today at (860) 224-8383. Great fun for a great cause.
