TODAY: The Richmond Flying Squirrels and Bowie Baysox will meet in the finale of a three-game series...The Baysox scored four runs with two outs in an inning including Kyle Hudson's walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the ninth inning as Bowie rallied past the Flying Squirrels 5-4 on Tuesday night in front of 1,573 fans at Prince George's Stadium.

GRAND FINALE': The Flying Squirrels and Baysox meet in the rubber match of the three-game series this morning at Prince George's Stadium...Richmond is 1-1 in series-deciding games and is 3-6 in series finales...The club is 2-6 in day games.

NIGHTMARE NINTH: Right-hander Jason Stoffel surrendered two, two-out runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to blow his fourth save in his last five save opportunities...The 22-year-old is 4-for-8 in save opportunities overall on the season...He was 25-for-29 in save tries with Advanced-A San Jose in 2010...Over his last four outings, Stoffel has allowed six runs on eight hits in 5 1/3 innings while walking five batters and striking out one...His ERA has climbed from 0.00 to 4.50 over that span...It was the third time this season that Richmond lost when leading after eight innings, and the club fell to 12-3 when ahead after eight frames.

HOMESICK: The Flying Squirrels fell to 4-11 on the road with last night's loss at Bowie...The club's .267 winning percentage on the road is second-lowest in the Eastern League ahead of only the Portland Sea Dogs (.214, 3-11)...Richmond is batting .194 (99-for-509) on the road and is averaging 2.87 runs per game (43R/15G) in 15 contests...The Flying Squirrels are batting .245 (140-for-571) in 17 games at The Diamond while averaging 4.18 runs per game at home (71R/17G).

THE GEORGIA PEACH: Second baseman Charlie Culberson has hits in each of his last seven games, one game shy of matching his longest hit streak of the season...The 22-year-old is 9-for-26 (.346) with one RBI and four runs scored over his last seven games...He has struck out just six times in 38 at-bats (16%) this month after striking out 22 times in 93 at-bats (24%) in April...Culberson leads the Eastern League with 131 at-bats and is tied for second in hits (38), having appeared in all 32 games for Richmond this season.

BOOK 'EM DAN-O: Right-hander Dan Otero has tossed 12 2/3 consecutive scoreless innings over his last seven appearances, the longest scoreless streak of the season for a Flying Squirrels pitcher...The 26-year-old has struck out 14 batters and walked none while holding opponents to a .196 (9-for-46) average against over the course of the streak.

PITCHING IN: The Flying Squirrels pitching staff leads the Eastern League with a 2.85 ERA through 32 games and the Flying Squirrels rank third in the league with 260 strikeouts. The pitching staff has logged a league-high 296 2/3 innings of work, 15 1/3 more innings than the Trenton Thunder who ranks second in innings pitched.
