Fuel Activate Bonar, Wise

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indy Fuel, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Chicago Blackhawks and the AHL's Rockford IceHogs, announced Thursday that rookie goaltender Sean Bonar was activated from the 21-day injured reserve and forward Jamie Wise was added to Indy's active roster from the Fuel's reserve list.

A 6'1", 175 lb. native of Delta, British Columbia, Canada, Bonar is 0-1-0-0 in two appearances for the Fuel this season with a 5.21 goals-against average (GAA) and a .848 save percentage (S%). Prior to his professional career, Bonar, 23, posted a 17-33-6 record in 63 collegiate appearances over four seasons at Princeton University from 2010 to 2014. In his last appearance for the Fuel, Bonar made 24 saves in a 4-2 road loss to the Evansville IceMen on October 25th.

Currently playing on an AHL contract with Rockford, Wise returns to the Fuel's active roster after being placed on reserve on November 16th. In nine appearances for Indy this season, Wise has one goal and three points to his credit, along with six penalty minutes. A 6'0", 205 lb. right-handed shooting winger from Stouffville, Ontario, Canada, Wise posted 29 goals and 59 points in 38 appearances for Ryerson University in Toronto in two seasons from 2012 to 2014. Prior to his collegiate career, Wise collected 38 goals and 66 points in 142 games played in the Ontario Hockey League for the Peterborough Petes and Mississauga St. Michael's Majors in parts of four seasons from 2009 to 2012. The Fuel also announced Thursday that forward Brett Perlini has been released.
