
FSU to lead exciting Friday schedule in ACC Tournament

Jacksonville, FL - The second day of play in the 2006 ACC Baseball Tournament wrapped up late Thursday night with two teams eliminated, two teams insuring themselves a day off, and two exciting matchups set up for Friday evening.
Florida State led off the day's action with an exciting come-from-behind 7-6 win over North Carolina. The win moves FSU ahead to face Virginia on Friday afternoon at 4:00pm. Virginia fell to North Carolina State this evening, 4-3, giving the Wolfpack a day off before it faces the winner of the FSU-Virginia matchup on Saturday morning.
In the bottom half of the bracket, Miami sent Wake Forest home with a 4-1 win and will face Georgia Tech, who fell to Clemson in the nightcap, 3-2. Clemson will face the winner of tomorrow's Miami-Georgia Tech game on Saturday afternoon.
