
Frostbite Win Wild One Over Jackals

GLENS FALLS, NY -- For the third straight game, the Adirondack Frostbite mounted a third-period rally, defeating the Elmira Jackals 6-5 in front of 2,782 fans at the Glens Falls Civic Center.
The teams traded goals through two periods, as the score was 4-4 after 40 minutes. The Frostbite's Sylvain Cloutier and the Jackals' Jarrett Konkle both scored a pair of goals in the middle period.
In the third, Elmira took the lead at 8:50 as Kevin Cooper's shot deflected past Kris Tebbs. But, the Frostbite came right back 28 seconds later, as Mark Hurtubise beat Meacham wtih a wrist shot from the right-wing circle.
Adirondack went on the power play late in the third, and Mike Berry capitalized, pushing a rebound past Meacham for his 27th goal of the season.
Tebbs finished the night with 33 saves, including 16 in the final period.
