RICHMOND, VA - Mike Berry and Kevin Watters each had a goal and assist as the Adirondack Frostbite defeat the Richmond RiverDogs 5-3 in front of a crowd of 2,314. The win gives the Frostbite a 7-0-0 record against the RiverDogs this season. The RiverDogs got goals from Mike Oliveira, Bobby Kukulka and Brian Goudie. Adirondack outshot Richmond 33-31 despite only putting 5 on net in the first period. Mike D'Alesandro was in goal for the RiverDogs.
The RiverDogs continue their homestand Friday as the team plays the Frostbite again at the Richmond Coliseum beginning at 7:35 pm. It will be Fox Socks Collection Night. Those that picked up Fox Socks last Saturday night are asked to return them filled with Christmas goodies as they enter the Coliseum. The Fox Socks will then be delivered to Children's hospitals throughout the Richmond area. Saturday, December 3, when the RiverDogs play the Elmira Jackals at 7:35 pm, it will be Toys For Tots Night. Fans are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy to the game. All toys will be collected by the U.S. Marines Corp. and delivered to hospitals in the Richmond area.
