Muskegon Lumberjacks News Release

MUSKEGON, MI.--- The two-time reigning Colonial Cup Champions of the United Hockey League and Central Division-leading Muskegon Fury, in conjunction with the UHL, have announced today that Fury All-Star right wing ROBIN BOUCHARD has been heralded the SHER-WOOD / UHL PLAYER OF THE MONTH for the month of November 2005.

In his 12th pro season overall and his 10th with the Fury, BOUCHARD, 32, is off to one of the best starts ever in his illustrious and colorful career. In the process, he has, once again, fueled the Fury's greatest start ever in franchise history after 15-games at 15(14-1-0) totaling 28-points and the best winning percentage in the league at .933. Moreover, in the month of November, alone, he spurred his team to its best November in Fury history at 12(11-1-0).

For the month, the Fury's "Gun-Sling King" amassed 23-points in those 12-games, including a club-best 13-goals and 10-assists while connecting on a team-high 6-PPG along with 2-GWG, 57-SOG and a superb +9 rating. Bouchard's ornate numbers also featured 8-multiple-point games, 4-multi-goal performances and a lusty 6-games' goal-scoring scourge composed of 10-goals and 14-total points. The flamboyant francophone from Jonquiere, PQ cannonaded goals in 9 of Muskegon's 12-games, being named the game's #1 Star on a trio of occasions while earning one #2 Star.

However, superseding his many extraordinary prolific numbers for the month were the two major milestones which he achieved for his entire pro career. On consecutive nights, the Fury's famous, fabled #32 achieved both his 1,000th point and 500th all-time pro career goal. The 5-11, 190lb Muskegon major marquee marksman earned his 1,000th point on November 18th in his Fury's 9-6 victory verdict in Fort Wayne. Then the very next night, November 19th, on home ice, against Kalamazoo, Bouchard authored his 500th goal, ironically on the night the Fury sustained their lone setback thus far this season.

The Fury's all-time premiere career cannoneer is currently riding the crest of a personal, season-opening 15-games point-scoring streak which is the best such skein in all of the UHL at this juncture of the season. In those 15-games, Bouchard has amassed an astronomical 30-points, including a UHL league-best 16-goals. Averaging exactly 2-points per game, "Bouch Almighty" is ranked third overall in league-wide scoring while his 8-PPG rank runner-up at this stage of the season.

Throughout his magnificent UHL career, "Rockin' Robin" has captured one individual scoring crown (2003-04) and has finished second and fourth in the league scoring derby. In addition, he has led the league in PPG a record 6-times and holds the all-time UHL record for GWG in a single season with 11, set in the 1998-99 campaign, the year of the Fury's Colonial Cup I.

His all-time pro career numbers presently read; 779(504-504-1,008). His all-time UHL career output stands at 673(447-440-887). Bouchard is #2 all-time in UHL career goals and #4 in scoring points. He trails Kevin Kerr (469) by only 22-goals for #1 UHL all-time. Bouchard, however, has become the UHL's all-time leader in PPG with 176 while his 63-GWG are only two behind the retired Kerr.

Perhaps, though, Bouchard's greatest career achievement was the 2003-04 shattering of the 83-year-old all-time pro hockey record for longest consecutive games' goal-scoring streak, ripping 20 goals in an amazing streak of 17-games.
