Fronts Acquire Dennis Golovatchev from the Guelph Storm

Kingston- The Kingston Frontenacs made another move on Monday acquiring Dennis Golovatchev from the Guelph Storm. In exchange for Golovatchev, the Storm will receive a 3rd round pick in 2021 (ER).

Golovatchev, a 6'0â=80", 176 lbs forward from Toronto, ON was drafted by the Guelph Storm 55th overall in the 2017 OHL Priority Selection. He spent the 2017-18 season with the Burlington Cougars of the OJHL where he scored 9 goals and 11 assists in 40 games.

"This move fits in with our plan to get younger while remaining competitive. Golovatchev is a player that can play in this league for years to come" said Keily.

The Frontenacs open their season on Thursday night in Peterborough against the Petes. The Home Opener is the following night, September 21st, at the Leon's Centre against the Oshawa Generals. Tickets for the home opener can be purchased at Ticketmaster.ca.
