Frontenacs Preparing to Welcome Patrons Back to Leon's Centre
September 14, 2021 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Kingston Frontenacs News Release
The Kingston Frontenacs are preparing to host a home game at the Leon's Centre for the first time since February 21st, 2020. On Saturday, September 18, our team will play the Ottawa 67's in a pre-season exhibition game.
Currently in stage 3 of the Ontario reopening act all indoor entertainment facilities are allowed 1000 people and all OHL teams will adhere to this current policy. We are providing our 2021-22 season ticket members the first right of refusal to attend our exhibition games. If limited tickets become available, the general public will be provided the opportunity to purchase the remaining tickets before each upcoming exhibition home game.
As per guidelines recently released by the province, only fully vaccinated individuals (completed at minimum 14 days prior) will be permitted into the Leon's Centre. Our team will require proof of vaccination, photo identification and mandatory mask wearing from Saturday, September 18 onwards by all patrons inside the venue.
We are optimistic regarding our ability to host full capacity events at the Leon's Centre by our opening night on October 8th, 2021, when we host the Ottawa's 67's.
In anticipation of this possibility, the Frontenacs will launch our 2021-22 single game tickets for the regular season starting next week. Once launched, tickets will be available to purchase online at Ticketmaster.ca or in person at the venue box office. 2021-22 season tickets are on sale now at www.myfrontenacs.com.
Our organization is excited for the upcoming season and we can't wait to welcome our fans, partners and sponsors back into the stands.
