Frontenacs encourage fans to wear Red this Friday

The Kingston Frontenacs would like to encourage all fans who attend Friday, November 10th's game versus the Mississauga IceDogs to wear red in support of the Canadian Troops past and present.

"With a rich military tradition that Kingston possesses, the opportunity for our Hockey Club to do something to support the military is important. We encourage all who attend Friday's game to wear red to show support for Canada's troops," said Jeff Stilwell, Director of Marketing for the Frontenacs.

"We will also be holding a pre-game ceremony with the Legion Colour Guard and other representatives of the Canadian military past and present," Stilwell added.

The architects of the "Wear Red" campaign are Lisa Miller and another military spouse, Karen Boire, whose husbands are with the Royal Canadian Regiment's 1st Battalion, based in Petawawa, which is currently overseas.

Tickets are available for both Friday's game versus the IceDogs and Sunday's game versus the Kitchener Rangers by visiting or calling the Kingston Frontenacs Box Office at 613-542-4042.
