Frontenacs dropped by Battalion in OT, 4-3

Kingston Frontenacs and Brampton Battalion went into overtime in Brampton Sunday afternoon. The Troops handed the Fronts their 2nd straight loss. 4 - 3 final.

Danny Revelle (2) opened the scoring for the Frontenacs on the Power Play at 4:35 assisted by newly aquired Adam Nemeth and Tony Rizzi. Brampton replied midway through with a man advantage.

About one minute remaining in the first, with one man in the box, Tony Rizzi (1) scored his first of the season assisted by Danny Revelle.

Six minutes into the 2nd period Brampton tied the game at 2 - 2. Frontenacs took the lead courtesy of Captain Anthony Stewart (1) scoring his first of the season assisted by Bobby Hughes just past the halfway mark.

Brampton forced overtime on a power play, the lone goal in the third period. 4:40 into overtime the Troops scored for their OT win.

Fronts starter, Dayne Davis made 36 saves through a full game.

Adam Nemeth brought his firey grit from London in the third period and was handed 5 minutes Cross Checking and 5 minutes Game Misconduct.

Tony Rizzi earned the 3rd Star of the Game.

Kingston was without Michael Kolarz, Derek Lyons and Brendan Duncan.

Kingston Frontenacs next game is on home ice Friday, October 1st to face Belleville Bulls. Game Time at Kingston Memorial Centre is 7:30PM.
