
Frontenacs and Petes Complete Trade

Kingston Frontenacs News Release
Kingston, Ontario - Kingston Frontenacs General Manager Kory Cooper announced today that the Hockey Club has completed a trade with the Peterborough Petes. The Frontenacs have acquired a 15th round pick in the 2024 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection in exchange for forward Kallaway Mercer.
Mercer was drafted by the Kingston Frontenacs in 2018 (9th Round, Pick 173) and he spent two seasons with the team. The 5'11", Port Hope native played in 83 games with the Frontenacs from 2018 to 2020. Kallaway has registered 4 goals and 3 assists for 7 points during his OHL career to date.
Kallaway spent the 2020-21 season with the Whitby Fury of the OJHL.
The Frontenacs organization wishes Kallaway all the best as he continues his hockey career in Peterborough.
