Everett AquaSox News Release
PASCO, Wash. - The Everett AquaSox scoreless streak has reached 30 innings. The club collected six singles and didn't have a runner as far as second base in a 5-0 loss to the Tri-City Dust Devils at Gesa Stadium in front of a crowd of 1,993.
It was the AquaSox fourth straight loss. With Vancouver's win over Spokane earlier in the day, the AquaSox, Vancouver and Tri-City are in a three-way tie for first place in the North Division.
Tri-City took a 2-0 lead in the third inning on a two-run home run by Olivier Basabe. Chandler Seagle's RBI double in the fifth made it 3-0. The Dust Devils picked up two unearned runs in the sixth.
AquaSox starting pitcher Orlando Razo (0-2) went 5 2/3 innings and allowed just three earned runs. He walked two and struck out a season-high seven.
Angel Acevedo (1-1) got the win for Tri-City. He blanked the AquaSox on five hits through six innings and struck out four.
