EVERETT, Wash. - Forrest Snow extended his scoreless innings streak to 25.1 and Stephen Pryor earned his fourth save of the season as the AquaSox (26-11) rallied to defeat the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes (17-20) 7-5 Sunday afternoon at Everett Memorial Stadium.

Snow tossed three innings, allowing only one hit and striking out two, to preserve the win for Yoervis Medina (3-2, 4.20 ERA). Medina battled in his five innings of work, allowing five runs off eight hits while striking out six and walking two. Pryor earned the save with a perfect ninth.

The Volcanoes took to Medina early, sending eight men to the plate in a four-run second inning. Raynor Campbell hit a run-scoring single to start the rally, followed by a two-out RBI-single by Julio Izturis. Salem-Keizer leading hitter Ryan Scoma delivered a two-run double on a 0-2 pitch from Medina that gave the Volcanoes a 4-0 advantage.

Two of the Sox hottest hitters got the comeback started with RBI in the second and third innings. Terry Serrano delivered a sacrifice fly to score Evan Sharpley in the second and Kevin Mailloux cracked a run-scoring double in the third.

Serrano was hitting .500 against the Volcanoes prior to Sunday's game and Mailloux extended his hitting streak to 11 games.

Ryan Royster tripled later in the third inning to score Mailloux and came home on a sacrifice fly by Sharpley to tie the game at 4-4.

What was once a 4-0 deficit became a 6-4 lead for the Sox in the fourth. Hawkins Gebbers and Kevin Rivers hit consecutive doubles for the go-ahead run, followed by Royster's second RBI on a single through the middle.

Danny Brock hit a run-scoring single in the fifth to bring the Volcanoes back to within one at 6-5. Medina got out of the inning with only the one run allowed, however, even after loading the bases with one away.

Rivers gave the Sox an insurance run in the eighth with his seventh homer of the season. The Bristol, Conn. native led the Sox with a 4-for-4 afternoon and two RBI. Royster, Mailloux and Steven Baron also added two hits apiece.

Volcanoes reliever Mario Rodriguez (1-1, 4.91 ERA) suffered the loss.

The final game of the first-half season is Monday night at Everett Memorial Stadium. Following Monday's 7:05 p.m. contest, all NWL team records reset for the second-half season, beginning Wednesday with the AquaSox at Tri-Cities.

Left-hander Anthony Fernandez (3-2, 3.55 ERA) gets the start for the Sox against southpaw Edwin Escobar (1-2, 3.82 ERA) in the series finale.
