Frisco plays rude host to Round Rock

Round Rock Express News Release
The Round Rock Express' first trip to the Frisco RoughRiders gave them the chance to experience the brand new Dr Pepper/7 UP Ballpark. Unfortunately, the new surroundings didn't bring any changes in the result.
Frisco scored four times in the fourth and never looked back to defeat Round Rock, 9-2, in front of 10,863.
Round Rock plated two in the top of the fourth to take a 2-1 lead. However, doubles by Ryan Soules, Kevin Mensik and Jason Dewey erased that lead. Two-run innings in the seventh and eighth concluded the scoring.
Mike Burns (1-10) got the loss after allowing seven runs, six earned, on nine hits in 6.1 innings. He did strikeout six. A.J. Murray (6-2) got the win.
Tommy Whiteman went 2 for 3 and Gavin Wright extended his hitting streak to 13 games with a first inning double.
The series will conclude Sunday at 6 p.m.
