
Royals and Trappers Rained Out Saturday

Omaha Storm Chasers News Release
OMAHA - The Omaha Royals game vs. Edmonton, scheduled for 6:05 p.m. Saturday, has been postponed due to rain. The Royals and Trappers will meet in a doubleheader on Sunday, beginning at 1:05 p.m., a half-hour prior to the regularly scheduled first pitch.
Gates open at noon on Sunday and the first 1,500 fans will receive a free seat cushion, courtesy of the Red Lion Hotel. All kids will be invited to run the bases after the game.
Saturday's scheduled giveaway - free Kansas City Royals MLB caps to the first 1,500 fans - will be rescheduled for a later date this summer.
Sunday's probable starters are Edmonton LH Scott Downs (5-3, 3.88) vs. Royals RH Ryan Baerlocher (2-0, 4.05) in the opener, with Trappers RH Britt Reames (2-6, 5.96) facing Omaha RH Mike Fyhrie (1-1, 4.15) in the nightcap.
Sunday's twin bill will be broadcast, beginning at 12:45 p.m. on Fox Sports Radio 1490 and at www.Oroyals.com.
