Friday's Riders' Full House Night Completely Sold Out
June 11, 2015 - Texas League (TL1)
Frisco RoughRiders News Release
FRISCO, TEXAS (JUNE 11, 2015) - The Frisco RoughRiders' "Salute to Full House Night" will live up to its name, as the 7:05 p.m. game on Friday, June 12 at Dr Pepper Ballpark has completely sold out. Every ticket for all available fixed seats, hospitality areas, suites, grass berm and standing room locations has been completely purchased in advance of Friday's contest.
This marks the second time this season and the second time in the 13-year history of Dr Pepper Ballpark that the home of the Riders has been completely sold out prior to game day. The feat first occurred prior to the team's May 8 game against San Antonio. That night, Frisco fans set a new single-game attendance record for the franchise, as 11,915 turned out to see the Riders play the Missions.
"When we began planning for this season we had a good feeling that 'Full House Night' was going to be a hit, and it's exciting that our fans have responded by purchasing every available ticket in advance of the event for only the second time in franchise history," said RoughRiders CEO and General Partner Chuck Greenberg. "Friday's promotion and game entertainment epitomizes a fun, memory-making night at the ballpark and we can't wait to bring more experiences like this to our great RoughRiders fans."
As part of the "Salute to Full House Night," the RoughRiders will wear specially designed jerseys that mimic the opening credits scene and logo from Full House. Dave Coulier, who played Joey Gladstone on the show, will be on hand for fans to take photographs and sign autographs. Each player's jersey will be available to fans as part of a silent auction with all proceeds benefiting both the RoughRiders Foundation and Dave Coulier's preferred charity, Pilots N Paws. Additionally, one (1) lucky fan in attendance will win a three-day trip for two (2) to San Francisco. Music from the '90s, skits and a spectacular postgame fireworks show will all pay tribute to the TV show.
"As with our prior advanced sellout game on May 8, it was important for us to make sure that we got the word out to fans with as much notice as possible so as not to disappoint anyone who was planning on purchasing a ticket on the day of the game," said RoughRiders Executive Vice President and General Manager Jason Dambach. "We encourage everyone with a ticket to our 'Salute to Full House' to come early and enjoy one of the greatest nights in Frisco RoughRiders history."
Fans with Flex Ticket packages or customers interested in purchasing single-game tickets or group outings for any remaining 2015 RoughRiders home game are invited to stop by the Dr Pepper Ballpark ticket office in person, call (972) 731-9200, e-mail Info@RidersBaseball.com or visit www.RidersBaseball.com.
After Friday's contest, the RoughRiders will return to Dr Pepper Ballpark to begin a four-game home stand from Sunday, June 21 to Wednesday, June 24.
