Two games remain in the Chiefs swing through the East Division with games in Brandon on Friday night and Swift Current Saturday night. Through the first four games, Spokane is 2-2 with wins in Regina and Saskatoon. Last night Spokane dropped a 5-2 decision in Prince Albert in a game that had a one-goal difference with just five minutes remaining. The Chiefs have outscored the opposition 18-11 during the trip. Spokane has not allowed a power play goal, going 12-12 on the penalty kill.
With an assist last night, Anthony Bardaro extended his point scoring streak to six games. He has scored all four of his goals and seven of his nine assists this season in that span. The 18-year-old recorded five goals and 11 points in 63 games a year ago.
In Spokane's 11-1 win over Regina last Saturday night Levko Koper became the first Chief since Ned Lukacevic on December 15th, 2004 to record six points in a game. Koper finished the win with two goals and four assists. Lukacevic scored three goals and three assists in a 7-4 win over Portland.
Due to a scheduling conflict, the Chiefs game on Friday night from Brandon will be heard on AM KJRB 790. Mike Boyle will go on the air at 5:00 with Comcast Hockey Tonight. The opening puck drop is scheduled for 5:30. Saturday's game can be heard on 1510 KGA.

Brandon will play host to the Chiefs for the first time since November 18th, 2008, a 4-1 Wheat King win. It came despite a 34-23 Spokane shot advantage. In last year's lone meeting between the two Spokane held a 3-1 lead through the first period but dropped a 5-4 decision. The Chiefs outshot Brandon 30-25, went 1-1 on the power play and 3-3 on the penalty kill. Levko Koper had a goal and assist. The Chiefs hold a 13-6-1 record in the regular season versus the Wheaties since the 1995-96 season. Brandon defeated the Chiefs in a five game series in the '95-'96 WHL Finals.
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 6TH at SWIFT CURRENT BRONCOS AIR-6:30 GAME-7:00
The Chiefs visit Swift Current for the first time since November 22nd, 2008, a 3-2 shootout win. Jared Cowen and Mitch Wahl scored goals in regulation for the Chiefs. Spokane fell 2-1 to Swift Current in the Chiefs and Broncos lone meeting of the season last year on December 12th, 2009. Spokane outshot Swift Current 43-30, was 6-6 on the penalty kill and 1-3 on the power play. Brenden Kichton scored the Chiefs only goal. Since the 1998-99 season, the Chiefs are 10-4-0 versus the Broncos.
