Regina Pats News Release
Regina, Saskatchewan - On the heels of yet another great "Breast Cancer Awareness Month" where for the fifth year in a row, the Regina Pats have raised money for the fight against breast cancer. The Pats are continuing their fight against cancer into November as many players, staff and local media, will be growing moustaches and raising money to battle prostate cancer for what is now called around the world as "Movember".
Many Pats players have already begun growing their moustaches (or lack thereof) as have members of the front office. Derek Meyers of Global Regina as well as other members of the Regina media are joining the Pats, growing moustaches all raising money to help fight prostate cancer.
Everything will culminate on December 3rd at the Brandt Centre as the Pats host the Moose Jaw Warriors. Fans are also encouraged to grow moustaches because that night, the best moustache in the crowd will win a Pats game night in one of the luxury boxes.
