Friday Night Fireworks Postponed; Games Still On

HAGERSTOWN, MD -- Tonight's installment of Friday Night Fireworks at Municipal Stadium has been postponed, and will be rescheduled for a date later in the season, the Hagerstown Suns announced Friday.
The Suns will still host the Lake County Captains for a pair of games tonight starting at 5:35 p.m., with gates opening at 5:00 p.m. The first game will be the conclusion of the Suns-Captains contest suspended due to rain on Wednesday night, with play resuming in the bottom of the fourth inning. After a break of approximately 30 minutes, Friday night's regularly scheduled contest will be played, and becomes a seven-inning affair due to the doubleheader.
Friday Night Fireworks will return on June 12 after Hagerstown takes on Delmarva in a 7:05 p.m. game. Eleven fireworks shows remain on the Suns calendar for the 2009 season.
