Fresno Grizzlies News Release

Fresno, CA - With only four home games remaining this year at Chukchansi Park, the Fresno Grizzlies are excited to announce their home dates for the 2010 Pacific Coast League season. The 72 game home schedule will include the Grizzlies annual 4th of July game and a favorable number of spring weekend dates.

The Grizzlies, who will be beginning their thirteenth season of play, will start the year on the road before returning to Downtown Fresno to open the home portion of their 2010 campaign on Friday, April 16. Opening Day 2010 will kick off an eight game homestand featuring visits from the Portland Beavers and Reno Aces.

Of the 72 home games scheduled for 2010, the Grizzlies will host eleven Friday and eleven Saturday games. The team will play a total of thirteen weekend home dates in April and May, when Valley weather is most conducive to baseball. For the first time in five seasons, the Grizzlies will close the season at home, when they host the Tacoma Rainiers on Labor Day, September 6. The complete 2010 PCL schedule, including road games and game times, will be released at a later date. The Grizzlies award-winning promotional schedule will be released at the beginning of next year.

Season ticket, mini plan, group, and picnic packages for the 2010 season are available now at the Chukchansi Park box office, by phone at 559.320.TIXS, or online at www.FresnoGrizzlies.com.
