
Fresh Knights Beat Spitfires 5-1

The Knights haven't played a game since Jan 23rd meanwhile the Spitfires are coming off playing just last night. This had the Spitfires on the back foot all night.
In the first period, it was all London as they went up 3-0 on 14 shots. The Spitfires had a few chances and powerplays but failed to capitalize.
In the second period, the Spitfires had quite a few powerplays before they were able to capitalize late in the 2nd period. A seeing-eye Henault point shot found the back of the net from Johnston and Cuylle cut the lead to two. It was the only goal of the period, as the Spitfires limited London to 7 shots. The Spitfires trailed 3-1 after forty minutes but led 28-21 in shots.
In the third period, London scored early to make it 4-1. London then added a empty net goal and took the game 5-1.
The Spitfires are back in action on Sunday at 7pm vs Sarnia.
