
Free Agent Maxwell Jardine Added to Roster

On Saturday, General Manager Jim Hulton announced the addition of free-agent defenseman Maxwell Jardine.
Jardine, a left-handed defenseman from Miramichi, New Brunswick, stands at 5'11" and 172 pounds. He has most recently played for the Miramichi Timberwolves of the Maritime Junior A Hockey League.
The 18-year-old has suited up for the Timberwolves in 108 games over the last 2.5 seasons. Last month, he won a silver medal at the World Junior A Challenge with Canada East.
Maxwell joins the Islanders roster ahead of Sunday afternoon's match-up against the Halifax Mooseheads at 3 PM. Tickets are on sale at the Eastlink Centre Box Office, online, or by phone at 902-629-6625.
