FredNats and Red Sox Postponed Due to Rain

FREDERICKSBURG, VA - Rain and wet grounds have forced the postponement of Friday night's Fredericksburg Nationals game against the Salem Red Sox at FredNats Ballpark.
The game will be made up on Saturday as part of a single-ticket, seven-inning doubleheader, with the first pitch of game one scheduled for 4:05 p.m. The second game will follow approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game, and will feature the "Geekend" jerseys presented by and benefitting Rappahannock YMCA.
Friday's fireworks show has also been postponed due to lightning in the area, but an additional fireworks show will be added to the remainder of the FredNats' home schedule. More details will be announced in the coming days.
Fans with tickets to Friday's game can exchange them for tickets of equal or lesser value to a future FredNats 2021 regular season home game based on availability. The FredNats continue their series against the Red Sox on Saturday night. First pitch from FredNats Ballpark is scheduled for 4:05, with FredNats On Deck beginning at 3:50 on the FredNats Baseball Network.
