
Four Lumberjacks Named to NHL Central Scouting List

MUSKEGON, Michigan - Zach Berzolla, Derek Daschke, Mitch Eliot, and Bo Hanson were named to the NHL Central Scouting Service November Players to Watch List.
All four players received "C" rating, by the NHL CSS, which indicates a 4th/5th/6th round candidate for the 2016 NHL Entry Draft.
Berzolla, a 6-foot-2, 185 pound defenseman from Howell, NJ is in his first full season with the Muskegon Lumber- jacks. Throughout the course of 13 games, the Colorado College commit has registered one assist, while being a vital part of the Lumberjacks penalty kill.
Daschke, is in his second season in the USHL, and first with the Lumberjacks. He was acquired earlier this season from the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders. The 6-foot-1, 188 pound defenseman has played in 10 games for the Lumber- jacks this season, recording three assists. All together, the Western Michigan commit has played in 15 USHL games this season, and has recorded a total of four assists.
Eliot, a 6-foot, 190 pound defenseman from Grosse Pointe, MI is in his second season with the Lumberjacks. After a 2014-2015 campaign where he recorded four assists, the Michigan State University commit has become a top defen- seman for the Lumberjacks and notched one goal and two assists in 14 games.
Hanson, is in his second season with the Lumberjacks. In 14 games, the Boise, ID native has also been a key contribu- tor of the Lumberjacks penalty kill. In the 2014-2015, Hanson played in 51 games for the Lumberjacks and registered one goal and four assists.
The Lumberjacks (7-7) look to build off of recent success with three games this week. On Wednesday, the Lumber- jacks will travel to Youngstown to take on the Phantoms. The Lumberjacks return home for a weekend series against the Tri-City Storm. Be sure to make it out to L.C. Walker arena Friday, for dollar beer and dollar dog night, and Sat- urday for Red Wings Night. The Puck drops at 7:15 P.M.
