
52 USHL Players Named to November NHL Central Scouting List

NHL Central Scouting released their Preliminary 2015 November Players to Watch list this morning. The annual list identifies players using the following criteria:
A Rating - Indicates a 1st round candidate
B Rating - Indicates a 2nd/3rd round candidate
C Rating - Indicates a 4th/5th/6th round candidate
LV (Limited Viewing) - Injured players who have not had sufficient viewings to be categorized
52 players that have played USHL games this season were named on the list, in addition to 12 USHL alumni, seven of which are playing college hockey. 48 of the 52 players have NCAA Division I college commitments. The 52 players is the second most amount of prospects listed for any junior league in the world. The news comes after a record-breaking 2015 NHL Draft in which no junior league in the world had more draft picks than the 37 USHL players selected, in addition to 10 USHL alumni.
The USHL will feature top NHL Draft-eligible talent in the annual USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game in Omaha, NE on January 12, 2016.
Team USA led all USHL teams with 18 players listed, and 12 USHL teams in total have multiple players listed: Team USA (18), Cedar Rapids RoughRiders (4), Chicago Steel (4), Sioux City Musketeers (4), Green Bay Gamblers (3), Muskegon Lumberjacks (3), Youngstown Phantoms (3), Fargo Force (2), Omaha Lancers (2), Bloomington Thunder (2), Dubuque Fighting Saints (2), and Waterloo Black Hawks (2).
