
Four FC Dallas Players Currently on International Duty

FRISCO, Texas (Tuesday, March 19) - FC Dallas' Blas Perez (Panama), Je-Vaughn Watson (Jamaica) and Raul Fernandez (Peru) have joined their respective national teams for upcoming World Cup Qualifying matches, FC Dallas announced today.
A fourth player, 17-year-old Kellyn Acosta is also away on national team duty with the U.S. Under-18 National Team. All four players will not be available for FC Dallas' home match this weekend against Real Salt Lake. Perez, Watson, Fernandez and Acosta will all return in time for FC Dallas' match against the New England Revolution at Gillette Stadium on Saturday, March 30.
Perez, who made his 2013 debut for FC Dallas in Sunday's 3-2 win against the Houston Dynamo, will travel with Panama to take on Watson and Jamaica on Friday, March 22. That match is set to kick off at 10:30 p.m. CT from Independence Park in Kingston, Jamaica.
Panama will also face Honduras in a CONCACAF World Cup Qualifying match scheduled to take place on Tuesday, March 26 at Estadio Rommel Fernandez in Panama City, Panama. That match will kick off at 11 p.m. CT.
Watson will travel with Jamaica to take on the Costa Rican National Team in Estadio Nacional de Costa Rica on Tuesday, March 26. Kickoff for that match is set for 11 p.m. CT.
In CONEMEBOL World Cup Qualifying, Fernandez and Peru will host Chile at Estadio Nacional in Lima, Peru on Friday, March 22. That game will start at 9 p.m. CT.
FC Dallas' youngest player, Acosta is currently taking part in a 10-day trip with the U.S. U-18 National Team which began on March 15. The team, coached by Javier Perez, will travel to both France and Romania. The U.S. U-18 squad will play three matches, the first of which was today against the French U-18 National Team in Clairefontaine, France. The U.S. U-18s will then head to Romania for a double fixture against the Romanians on Friday, March 22 and Sunday, March 24 in Bucharest.
