Waterloo, IA - June 13th, 2011 - The Bullfrogs allowed three unearned runs on four errors Monday night in a 6-3 loss in Waterloo against the Bucks. The offense was held scoreless in the first six innings by Bucks starter Derek Lamacchia.

Waterloo got on the board first in the first inning. Cameron Perkins drove in the game's first run with a RBI single. With runners at the corners and two outs, an error by Andy Hunter allowed Perkins to score from third to make it 2-0. Green Bay starter Austin Blaski settled in and pitched very well after that. He retired 10 in a row after the first inning and allowed just one hit until he was removed after two hitters in the seventh.

Green Bay had just one scoring chance in the first six innings when they put two runners on with one out in the top of the second. After a fielder's choice and a ground out however, Lamacchia got out of the jam. The Bullfrogs capitalized on their next scoring opportunity in the seventh when they pushed across an unearned run. Robert Williams reached on a one out error by the shortstop and moved to second on a wild pitch where he was pinch run for by Joe Betcher. After a single by Ty Filliben, there were runners at the corners. With two outs Filliben attempted to steal second base. On the throw to second, Betcher broke for home and scored as the throw to second went into center field. With Filliben at third as the tying run, he was stranded there when Ryan Schilter popped out to end the inning.

Waterloo responded immediately in the bottom of the seventh inning with four runs. The big blow came with one out when Davis Hendrickson hit a two-RBI triple. The 'Frogs as usual made it interesting in the bottom of the ninth. Hunter got hit to lead it off and scored when Nik Balog hit a two-run homer to right. After a one out walk, Micheal Boyle struck out the final two hitters stranding the tying run in the on-deck circle.

With the loss Green Bay moves to 7-6 on the year. They lost the series to Waterloo two games to one and go 2-3 on the road trip.
