
Forward Sorenson Returns to Kalamazoo

Kalamazoo, MI. - The Kalamazoo Wings, proud ECHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks, have signed forward Tanner Sorenson the team announced on Thursday afternoon.
Sorenson spent the 2015-16 and 2016-17 season with the K-Wings skating in 131 games, while recording 72 points (35g, 37a). The Anchorage, AK native spent last season with Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk (VHL) in Kazakhstan netting 31 points in 45 games. Sorenson began this season in Switzerland with EHC Winterhur (NLB), putting up five points (2g, 3a) in eight games.
Prior to turning pro Sorenson spent four seasons at Michigan State, where he teamed up with Kalamazoo goaltender Jake Hildebrand.
The K-Wings are back at home on Friday, taking on the Fort Wayne Komets. Puck drop at Wings Event Center is set for 7:30 pm.
