SETTING THE STAGE: Tonight's game at the Ford Center will be the sixth and final meeting of this season between the Brahmas and the Blazers...Oklahoma City has won four of the previous five games played between the two clubs this year, including a 3-1 win in their last meeting on February 24...Oklahoma City is 2-0 against the Brahmas this season at the Ford Center...Fort Worth is 6-11-1 all time against the Blazers, and 1-6-1 all time in Oklahoma City.
FORT WORTH NOTES: The struggling Brahmas will take a 12 game winless streak into tonight's game at Oklahoma City...Additionally, Fort Worth has lost their last 11 road games in a row...This will be the fourth game in five nights for the Brahmas...They were last in action this past Sunday night, March 7, losing by a 4-2 score at Colorado...D-man Peter Trumbley and forward T.J. Warkus scored the Fort Worth goals in the loss...This will be the Brahmas fourth road game in a row...Left wing Chad Woollard, with 18 goals, is closing in on his third consecutive 20 goal season for the Brahmas...Right wing Derrell Upton, the Brahmas leading scorer with 44 points, needs six points in his last four games to reach the half century mark.
OKLAHOMA CITY NOTES: It has not been a typical year for the Blazers...Oklahoma City is one game under .500 and will miss the CHL playoffs for the first time in franchise history...The Blazers are on a four game losing streak, having not won since a 2-1 overtime decision over San Angelo on February 28th...The Blazers are still two games over .500 this season at home (14-12-4)...Slick winger Doug Shepherd leads Oklahoma City in goals this season with 24...D-man Hardy Sauter is having another productive season with 8 goals, 31 assists and a team high +8 rating...Blazers tough guy Charlie Elezi is fourth in the CHL in major penalties with 25.
