THREE'S COMPANY: The playoff picture remains air tight as three teams (Indianapolis, Memphis, and Wichita) are within one point of each other for the third and fourth playoff spots in the Northern Conference heading into this week's play. The Ice has a game in hand with the RiverKings and is even in games played with Wichita. The Ice has gone 5-3-1 so far on its ten-game road swing with Tuesday's meeting with Amarillo remaining on the road stint.
IRONMAN: Four-time all-star defenseman Bernie John enters this week's play on the verge of another couple of milestones. The top-scoring defenseman in all of pro hockey (72 points) is one point shy of 350 for his Indianapolis Ice career and his next game played will move him past former IHL Ice defenseman Ivan Droppa for second all-time in games played (298) in an Ice uniform. Former IHL Ice forward Sean Williams currently holds the franchise record with 320 games played with Indianapolis.
PLAYER POINTS: Bernie John has 21 points (5G, 16A) in his last 15 games.....Mario Doyon has more goals (21) than any defensemen in all of pro hockey... Doyon is also two goals shy of 200 for his pro career...Jim Shepherd is one assist shy of 200 for his pro career...Brent Zelenewich has won five straight games between the pipes...Dave Gilmore has seven points (5G, 2A) in his last six games
TEAM TALLIES: Indy has killed off 60 of its last 63 opponents' power play attempts... The Ice is third in the CHL in overall power-play percentage (32-302 20.5%)... Of this weeks' opponents, Indy is 0-1-0 against Amarillo this year, 0-2-0 against Colorado and 7-5-0 against Memphis...36 of the teams' 60 games have been one-goal games this year and the club has a record of 21-12-3 in those contests.

* The Ice solved Odessa goaltender Mike Gorman on two of its 61 shots for the win...Ryan Carter and Remi Royer had the goals, while Brent Zelenewich earned the victory in net.
GORILLAS DEFEAT ICE 4-2
* John Dean scored two goals and goaltender Shawn Degagne made 29 saves to lead Amarillo....Bernie John and Mario Doyon scored the two goals for Indianapolis.
