FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Fort Wayne and Windy City opened a two game series on Sunday with 80's Night in Fort Wayne. The Mad Ants used 19 made three pointers to take the 116-108 win and end Windy City's four game winning streak.

The Mad Ants shot 45 percent from the field to Windy City's 51.

Fort Wayne pushed out to a 12 point first quarter lead on the strength of seven made three pointers, including two each from Gabe York and Andrew Rowsey. The Mad Ants were shooting better from three point range than either team was from the field after one.

Windy City closed the gap in the second quarter, pulling within one at 57-56 at the halftime break. Tyler Cook shot 8-of-10 in the first half with a game high 16 points as of that point. Windy City also used the second quarter to narrow the gap in rebounding by posting 12 rebounds in the second.

The third quarter flipped right back to Fort Wayne however as they outscored Windy City 37-16 in the frame with York more than doubling his point total; after coming into the second half with 15 points, York finished the third with 31 points. Fort Wayne hit seven three pointers again in the third quarter and led 94-72 heading to the final frame.

Windy City got back within 10 at 97-87 on a Bryce Alford three pointer with just under 10 minutes to play in the game. The comeback continued with 3:37 to play when a Devon Dotson midrange pullup made it a 103-101 game still in Fort Wayne's favor. Windy City evened things at 103 at the line on a Tyler Cook free throw the next Bulls trip up the court, erasing what was a 22 point deficit. On the next Fort Wayne possession though, Justin Anderson gave Fort Wayne a lead back, followed by another Cook basket to even things at 105.

Nate Hinton found his way to the rim with 2:18 to play to give Fort Wayne a 107-105 lead and the Bulls never were able to even things up from there as a Justin Anderson three and Walt Lemon Jr. free throws helped salt things away.

Gabe York led the Mad Ants with 35 points, hitting five three pointers while Andrew Rowsey went 6-of-8 from deep to finish with with 18 points. Windy City was paced by Tyler Cook's 31 points and 10 rebounds.
