
Former Wings' Baskin Soaring High

Former Aberdeen Wings and current Air Force forward #27 Erik Baskin has been a force in collegiate hockey.
Baskin, a native of Minnetonka, Minnesota has compiled 10 goals and 6 assists in his first season with the Division I Air Force Academy hockey program. He was recently named the Travel Team USA Rookie of the Week. Air Force is 13-18-4 so far this season.
Baskin played in 113 games for the Aberdeen Wings of the NAHL in two seasons from 2012-2014. Last season he had an impressive 37 points with 21 goals and 16 assists. Most effective on the power play, he had 9 PP goals tied for 2nd on the team.
This weekend, Air Force hosts Canisius for the final game series before the first round of the AHA playoffs. The Wings wish good luck to Baskin, Air Force, and all former Wings playing Division I and Division III hockey.
