
Former Wing Commits to Gophers

Former Aberdeen Wings player Steven Johnson has committed to play collegiate hockey for Division-I University of Minnesota-Gophers, one of the most prestigous college hockey programs in the nation. Johnson was with the Wings last season recording 17 assists.
"We are very excited for Steven. He has earned this great opportunity to play at the University of Minnesota through hard work and dedication," stated Wings coach Travis Winter. "We are very proud to call him an alumnus of our organization."
