
Former Lincoln Bumblee & Driller named to All-NFL Europe team

BEAUMONT, TX -- Former Beaumont Drillers' wide-receiver Shockmain Davis has been named to the All-NFL Europe Team as a member of the Rhein Fire.
Davis ranked first in the NFL-Europe league in kickoff returns, returning 16 kickoffs totaling 454 yards while averaging 28.4 yards per return. His longest was 92 yards, and set a new NFL-Europe league record in a single season returning two for a touchdown.
As a member of the Beaumont Drillers in 2003, Davis played in five games before signing with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League. In those five games with Beaumont, Davis caught 30 passes for 286 yards and nine touchdowns.
Davis' NFL rights are retained by the Green Bay Packers.
