LAFAYETTE, LA--The National Indoor Football League is pleased to announce the top players from Week 13 action, as follows:
Atlantic Conference
Marc Saldana, Quarterback - Beaumont Drillers
Atlantic Conference Offensive Player of the Week
Drillers quarterback Marc Saldana helped lead Beaumont to a key win against the Utah Warriors in overtime, 84-77 on Saturday. Saldana completed 18 out of 29 passes for 259 yards and seven touchdowns. He also ran the ball on eight attempts for three more touchdowns. Saldana also completed two 2-point conversions.
Roy Locks, Defensive Lineman - Beaumont Drillers
Atlantic Conference Defensive Player of the Week
Beaumont defensive lineman Roy Locks helped anchor a strong defensive effort as the Drillers took on the Utah Warriors. Locks was responsible for four solo and three assisted tackles, including 2.5 tackles for a loss. He also recorded two passes defended, one blocked field goal, and 1.5 sacks as the Drillers rolled over Utah in overtime, 84-77.
James "Rocco" DeMaise, Kick Returner - Atlantic City CardSharks
Atlantic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week
Atlantic City kick returner James "Rocco" DeMaise continues his status as a special teams threat. The CardSharks kick returner ran back eight kickoffs for 158 yards, returning one for a touchdown. DeMaise also ran back a missed field goal attempt for a touchdown, giving Atlantic City the win in the fourth quarter over the Evansville BlueCats, 31-27.

Emmett White, Running Back - Utah Warriors
Pacific Conference Offensive Player of the Week
Warriors running back Emmett White had an outstanding game the other night as Utah lost in overtime against the Beaumont Drillers, 84-77. White, a native of Ogden, Utah, was impressive both on the ground and through the air for the Warriors. The 6-foot-2, 210-pounder ran the ball 15 times for 56 yards and three touchdowns and also hauled in nine receptions for 103 yards and three more scores.
Leif Murphy, Defensive End - Tri-City Diesel
Pacific Conference Defensive Player of the Week
Diesel defensive end Leif Murphy helped lead Tri City to a win over the Sioux City Bandits. Murphy was responsible for five unassisted and two assisted tackles, including three tackles for a loss. He also recorded two quarterback hurries, 2.5 sacks for 14 yards and capped of his night by blocking a field goal and returning it for a touchdown to help the Diesel win 47-43 on the road against Sioux City.
Chase Long, Kicker - Omaha Beef
Pacific Conference Player of the Week
Beef kicker Chase Long has nabbed Player of the Week honors again for his efforts on special teams. Long completed 4 out of 5 field goals from 20, 36, 37, and 42 yards out. Long was also perfect on extra point attempts, completing six, as he accounted for 18 of the Beef's 54 points as they went on to shut out the Lincoln Capitols on Saturday.
