Diesel Hit the Road to Lincoln
June 9, 2004 - National Indoor Football League (NIFL)
Tri-City Diesel News Release
Kearney, NEâThe Tri-City Diesel hit the road for their final trip of the regular season to take on the Lincoln Capitols. This will be the first meeting of the year between the two teams. The Diesel are riding a four game winning streak and will look to improve to a 10-3 record with a win over the Capitols.
The Capitols round out the bottom of the Pacific North Division with a record of 3-8. "Lincoln's record is not a good indicator of their level of play. Their offensive and defensive lines are very physical and the secondary play is some the best we've seen on film. We're preparing for this game just like a playoff game, because for us, it is," said Diesel Head Coach, Robert Fuller.
The Diesel will finish out their regular season at home on June 19th when Lincoln comes to Kearney for a 7:35 kickoff. Tickets are still available at the Tri-City Arena Box Office or by calling 308-338-8011.
