June 9, 2004 - National Indoor Football League (NIFL)
Utah Warriors News Release

West Valley City, UT – Emmett White reminded everyone why he is one of the most dangerous players in the National Indoor Football League last Saturday night against the Beaumont Drillers. White set several team records and tied a few others in the 84-77 loss. Wednesday, White was named the NIFL Pacific Conference Offensive Player of the Week, his first such award of the season.

White finished the game Saturday with nine receptions for 103 yards and three touchdowns. The nine receptions tied a season high for a Warrior receiver. His second touchdown came on a screen pass that he broke two tackles, leaped over two more, and scampered 36 yards for the score. His final TD catch came on the final play of regulation, sending the game to overtime. White also ran the ball 15 times for 56 yards and three touchdowns playing fullback for the first time this season, replacing the injured Omar Bacon.

White also returned eight kickoffs for 224 yards, including a 45-yard return that ended at the Beaumont three. His 224 kick return yards set a team record for return yards, eclipsing his previous record of 181 set against Austin last season. He also tied a team record with eight returns. In total he had a team record 32 all purpose attempts and a record 383 all purpose yards. His six touchdowns tied a team record set last season by Bacon. The 56 rushing yards are the fifth most by a Warrior rusher.
