
Emmett White and Pete Garces Named Players of the Week

West Valley City, UT â Emmett White and Pete Garces were named Pacific Conference Players of the Week for offense and special teams respectively. For Garces it is the fourth time this year he has been named player of the week and White won the offense award for the second straight week.
White finished the game against Show Me with six catches for 150 yards and two touchdowns. He also carried the ball seven times for 11 yards and two more touchdowns. To cap it all off he was 1x1 passing, throwing a 10-yards touchdown pass to Cody Jamison.
Garces was successful on eight of 11 PAT attempts and added a 25-yard field goal, giving him 11 ponts in the game.
Utah concludes the regular season this Saturday night, June 26, at 7:00 pm at the E-Center when they host the Billings Outlaws. Billings is the top seed in the Pacific Conference and Utah needs a win to clinch the sixth and final playoff spot in the same Pacific Conference.
