Force OS Chris Jackson named AFL Offensive Player of the Week

FLOWERY BRANCH, GA - Georgia Force OS Chris Jackson earned AFL Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in helping the Force defeat the Tampa Bay Storm 61-51 on Sunday, March 26. The win improved the Force to 5-4 on the season and to 3-2 against the Southern division.

Jackson set a Force single-game record as he scored seven touchdowns in Georgia's 61-51 victory over Tampa Bay. His 42 points scored in a single game broke WR/LB Derek Lee's record of 36 set against New York (3/12/05) last season. Jackson recorded 10 catches for 124 yards and six touchdowns against the Storm and returned a kickoff 55 yards for a touchdown.

In the seven games Jackson has played in, he has hauled in 52 catches for 653 yards and 20 touchdowns. He has also returned 30 kickoffs for 624 yards and two touchdowns in seven games.

The Force will play the Kansas City Brigade (1-8) on Saturday, April 1, at 8:00 p.m. in Kemper Arena.
