Buccaneer Players to Sign Autographs Saturday at Storm Game

TAMPA BAY - Players from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be in attendance this Saturday, April 1st at the St. Pete Times Forum when the Tampa Bay Storm take on the Utah Blaze. Buccaneer defensive lineman Chris Hovan and wide receivers J.R. Russell and Paris Warren will be signing autographs on the plaza level concourse at 6:30 p.m.

Hovan, a 6-foot-2, 296-pound defensive tackle, is going into his seventh year in the NFL. Last season with the Bucs he appeared in 16 regular season contests while racking up 45 tackles (35 solo, 10 assisted) and recorded one pass break up.

Russell, 6-3, 206-pounds, finished his rookie season with the Bucs on the practice squad. The Tampa native spent 12 weeks on the 53-man active roster before being placed on the practice squad. The Gaither High School graduate received First-Team All-Conference USA honors in 2003 and 2004 while at the University of Louisville.

Warren, a 6-0, 213-pound wide receiver, will be entering his second season in the NFL. After spending time on the 53-man active roster he was placed on the practice squad to end the season. The University of Utah graduate was named Co-MVP of the 2004 Fiesta Bowl.

The Storm kickoff their inaugural meeting with the Utah Blaze at 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the McDonald's Box Office at the St. Pete Times Forum, by calling 813.301.6600 or at www.tampabaystorm.com. If you can't make it to the game catch all the action on the radio at 1250AM WHNZ with Jack Harris and Jason Dixon. The pre-game action can be heard starting at 7:15 p.m.
