
Force Announces Radio Frequency Change
December 1, 2003 - Major Indoor Soccer League 2 (MISL 2)
Cleveland Force News Release
CLEVELAND, OHIO - The Cleveland Force today announced changes in the team's radio frequency. Starting on December 7th, the Radio Home of the Force will switch from Sports Talk 850 AM WKNR to WHK 1220 AM and WHKW 1440 AM in Warren. The remainder of the regular season can be heard live on WHK.
"We appreciate Salem Communications cooperation as a partner on this change. The switch back to WHK 1220 AM provides the team with a stronger signal and less confusion for our fans with WKNR's other sports obligations. We appreciate the support of WKNR and look forward to the Coach's Show each week on WKNR 850 AM," stated Force President and General Manager Paul Garofolo.
In addition, the Force will team up once again with TheSportsking to stream
all game broadcasts as well as the Force Coach's Show live on the Internet
at www.thesportsking.com The Force Coach's Show will continue to air on WKNR 850 AM every Thursday
night from 7:00-8:00 p.m. The show will not air this Thursday, December 4,
2003 due to a scheduling conflict on WKNR. Please join Head Coach Andy
Schmetzer and a Force guest along with host Al Pawlowski next Thursday,
December 11 as they discuss last week's action as well as strategies and
scouting reports for future opponents. Cleveland will take on the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) Western
Division San Diego Sockers on Sunday, December 7 at the Convocation Center
at Cleveland State University. Catch all the action live on Sunday at 3:05
p.m.
