Kansas City, MO - The Kansas City Comets announced on Monday that two new staff members have joined the organization's front office. Seth Alberg is the new Corporate Sales Executive, and Elizabeth Kapp joins the Comets as Manager of Media and Community Relations.
"We're excited to add two quality and qualified people to our front office staff," said Comets Head Coach and General Manager Zoran Savic. "They are going to help us achieve our goals during the restructuring of the organization."
Alberg comes to the Comets from Tulsa, OK, where he worked as a corporate sales associate for the Tulsa Drillers, the Double A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies.
Alberg received his B.S.E. in Sports Management from the University of Kansas in 2001 and spent time in the Kansas City area during college. He grew up in Pratt, KS, and attended Pratt High School.
"I'm looking at it as a challenge," he said. "I'm excited about the opportunity to be a part of the organization."
Kapp is a recent graduate of the University of St. Thomas (MN) where she received a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication with a Concentration in Print Journalism. She was raised in Kansas City and attended high school at Bishop Miege.
"I grew up playing and watching soccer," she said. "I am pleased to have a job with the Comets because the organization is a huge part of soccer in Kansas City."
